How it Works

The "business" aspect of DLA may seem confusing unless you realize we're an optional add-on to BJU Press Distance Learning. So you first do your BJ HomeSat subscription with BJU Press. Then for the convenience of DLA, you contact us by calling 800-880-7283. If you get the auto attendant, dial extension 7052.

You will access DLA through a simple $49 per year membership. Then you pay us $6.95 per block feed. There is a 15% discount when ordering an entire year of lessons. We send DVDs via first class mail as you need them. The DVD will have each lesson (five or ten per disk) with the appropriate recorded introductory material. Each program is professionally bookmarked on the DVD for ease of access.

Fine print

Is there any "fine print"? Sure. And we want you to have a clear understanding of DLA, so here are key details.

• You must be a BJ HomeSat satellite subscriber for the FULL school year.
• You must be registered with BJU for any courses you wish DLA to handle for you.
• DLA does not include textbooks, handouts, printed Mom's Minutes, and so forth. The textbooks are your responsibility.
• The BJ HomeSat handouts will be shipped to you from the network upon registration. You cannot resell or distribute BJ HomeSat material outside your home. This is true regardless of who recorded it.
• BJU retains ownership of the instruction and licenses it to you for teaching your children for this school year.
• Your license to use the BJ HomeSat material expires when your subscription expires. Expired material is to be destroyed or permanently disposed of. To do otherwise is a violation of the copyright on this courseware.
